I believe that writing is a craft - unless you work and work and work at it, you will continue to generate sloppy muddy lumps of clay instead of fine, high quality, well-crafted ceramic vases.
I’m powered by curiosity, an irrational love for language (I speak five), and the firmly held belief that education is for all.
I am particularly interested in language, film, culture, cognition, and pedagogy.

I approach texts with a keen attention to craft, clarity, and audience. As a writer, I am keenly aware of the struggle and stakes involved in putting ideas into words or translating complex information into textual form.
An endlessly curious person, I deeply appreciate the chance to learn from the specialties and interests of the authors I serve.
