Words, words, words.

I started work at a boutique publishing house in Sydney, Australia 15 years ago. Since then, I have set up my own academic editing business, and today I work under the mehta-text brand.

My area of specialisation has been business academia (mainly in marketing, management, finance, economics, strategy, human resources), but I have also worked with clients in the humanities.

In tandem, I have worked in film and TV as a writer and editor on various projects. The projects allowed me to build on my storytelling abilities, and with mehta-text, I have found the happy marriage between my excitement for storytelling and my passion for language.

I have:

  • a Masters in English Literature from University of Bombay, India;

  • a Post-Graduate Diploma in Editing and Publishing from Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia;

  • and a Certificate in Film Editing from AFTRS in Sydney, Australia.

I am also an adjunct lecturer at Essec Business School in Singapore, where I teach undergraduate business students "Storytelling for Business" and "Business Writing".

I speak 5 languages (English, French, Hindi, Marathi and Gujarati), have lived on 4 continents and take my words with me, wherever I go.

I am particularly interested in language, film, culture, cognition, and pedagogy.
